LAB TECHNICIAN |
NEB is seeking a highly-motivated, professional person with education/training in aquatic biology or a related field. Experience in freshwater and/or marine aquaculture, bioassay testing, and water-quality monitoring with good computer skills (Word, Excel, Access) is desired. Candidate should have prior experience in an aquatic toxicology laboratory setting. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. |
SENIOR BIOLOGIST |
| NEB desires a senior biologist to complement our current laboratory management staff. The candidate should have a B.S. in the biological/environmental sciences with 3 + -years of work experience in an aquatic toxicology laboratory or a M.S. with at least one year of supervisory experience. Duties include supervision of laboratory personnel in daily operations, oversight of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) policies and procedures, maintenance of detailed records, data analysis and interpretation, report production, and client interactions. Prior experience in sediment toxicity testing is desired. The individual should be self-motivated, dependable, with a strong desire to excel in the field of aquatic toxicology. |
