Kimberly Wills

Mrs. Wills is responsible for overseeing all lab operations. This includes scheduling toxicity tests, supervising lab staff, reviewing all data and lab reports, maintaining laboratory quality control, marketing lab services and acting as the primary point of contact for our extensive list of clients.

Ecological Testing

Fauna and benthic organisms that live in soil or sediment may be impacted by contaminated matrices. Sediment can cause a long-term exposure from chemicals that may have more effect on these organisms than overlying surface water. Risk to ecological receptors can be assessed by using data generated from ecological assays. This information can be used to reduce the amount of soil or sediment removed from a site that may cause significant risk to the environment. The net result is a reduction of remediation costs.

Wastewater Toxicity Testing

Biological testing (i.e., biomonitoring) is a major part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (US EPA) water quality-based approach to controlling toxic pollutants to the nation's waters. To meet our clients' needs, New England Bioassay currently performs a wide variety of toxicological investigations that include static, static-renewal, and flow-through test systems required by the Clean Water Act's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program.
