NEB uses an automated 20-channel respirometer system developed by Co-ordinated Environmental Services Ltd. (C.E.S.; Kent, England) that can run both short-term (< 1-day) or long-term (28 days) Bio-Oxygen Demand or anaerobic gas production experiments. |
|
| |
The C.E.S respirometer system can measure either gas absorption or production of laboratory scale microbial experiments in either liquids or soils and is also capable of measuring oxygen uptake of aquatic and terrestrial fauna.
NEB offers the following environmental services.
- Ready Biodegradability Tests (OECD 301F)
- Manometric Respirometry Biodegradation Test (OECD 301F)
- EPA Biodegradation Tests
(EPA Chemical Fate Test Guidlines CG2000-CG2100)
All test methodologies and laboratory procedures are conducted with strict quality control/quality assurance and in accordance with standard operating procedures developed from U.S. EPA and OECD guidelines.
